It's trade show season, do you know what "suitcaising is?"
CAI Suitcasing and Outboarding Policy
In order to protect our exhibitors and sponsors investment at an event, and to maintain the integrity of our events, CAI strictly prohibits “suitcasing”, solicitation, and/or “outboarding” by paid attendees and non-registered individuals who conduct business at the hotel/venue and do not have an exhibitor and/or sponsorship registration at the event.
What is Suitcasing and Outboarding?
“Suitcasing” refers to non-exhibiting/non-sponsoring companies or individuals who go to a CAI event and solicit business in the in the expo aisles, another company’s booth/table, public spaces (including but not limited to hotel guest rooms, hospitality suites, restaurants, clubs, bars, cabanas, or any other public place of assembly).
“Outboarding” refers to non-exhibiting/non-sponsoring companies or individuals who host meetings, events, or demos, etc., outside of the exhibit hall, such as in hospitality suites, restaurants, or public places in close proximity to the CAI event and encourage attendees to leave CAI’s event to attend their event.
