Say what? VGK, UNLV, Smalls, Moon, all in the same place? It’s true and many more were All About Sports at the CAI Nevada Annual Charity Bowling Tournament held recently at The Orleans Bowling Center. Thank you to all our team sponsors, donors and bowlers! Aviators, October 2023
Our members recently attended the Aviators last game of the season for the CAI Family Event. The annual event held on the 1st Base Party Deck is always a crowd pleaser and grows in attendance every year!
Charity Auction, October 2023
Community Outreach launched its inaugural event, The CAI Nevada Cares Charity Auction at The Mine Experience Museum. The event was attended by 175 attendees and sponsors. The highlight of the evening was the Live and Silent Auctions. Proceeds in the amount of $10,000 will benefit Free International. Thank you to our committee members, sponsors, donors and attendees.

Northern Nevada Golf Tournament, June 2023
Toiyabe Golf Club was the location of this year’s Flamboyance of Flamingoes Northern Nevada Golf Tournament. Our members enjoyed a beautiful day on the course all bedecked in flamingoes and various accessories that added to the very festive event. National Conference, May 2023
CAI Nevada had a large representation at the recent CAI National Conference in Dallas. We had the honor of accepting the Out of the Box Chapter Achievement Award for Extra Large Chapters, Tonya Gale was the National Recruiter of the Year, Lyle McKenzie was the Homeowner of the Year and Bob Browning was a member of the award winning Reserve Study Task Force. Our Community Outreach Committee along with an army of members have been volunteering at Lighthouse Charities for the first half of the year. They have planted seedlings, sorted donated food and goods, worked in the sewing room and the bakery! This year we were happy to launch the chapter’s 501 (c) 3 non-profit, CAI Nevada Cares on hole 11 with Shoot your Shot. A donation put the AK riffle in your hand to shoot your golf ball 400 yards. It was amazing!
CAI Nevada Cares will offer our generous donors a tax deduction when donating to our charitable causes which will operate under the direction of the Community Outreach Committee who will report to the Chapter Executive Director and Board of Directors for fund disbursements at year end.

Sensology, February 2023
The first social of 2023 in Reno was at Sensology at the GSR. This original establishment is the only one in the country that tests your 5 senses in a fun and challenging atmosphere. We networked and used our senses playing charades, pictionary, ball pits, mazes in the dark and guessing the flavor of Jelly Bellies. There was a lot more to it, the important thing is we all had a blast and hope to plan it again!
